Computer and the Internet

   There are a variety of ways to turn yourself from computer illiterate to computer guru. Most of these ways are inexpensive and take up a little bit of your time. Some of them can be done in the luxury of your own home at your own pace.

   To become dynamic in new opportunities of computer and information technology, each individual needs to appreciate the fundamental and core concepts of computing and the internet to understand and become articulate to ‘new’ breed of knowledge, skills and values.

   Computer and internet play a huge role in our modern lives, such as managing business and finances, communicating with other individual, entertainment, politics, world knowledge, news, games, etc. We can store our data in computer and being able to access a wider source of information than previously impossible.

   By means of studying computing concepts and the internet, “improving ways of thinking” is considered important because of the impact of rapid technology that requires exposure, familiarization and acceptance. For example, understanding the importance of internet secrets would help you in order to be successful in internet venture. Later, it will change your business from local to global exposure where opportunities are just one mouse click away from your fingertips.

   Although it seems to be easy to drag yourself into computer and information technology, to be specific the internet, precaution should note into consideration. You have to make an effort to put some limits that you can not trespass beyond ethical and legal issues to these new technologies.

   No matter what level you are at in operating computer and new technology, keep in mind that they are just a tool that can make your life simpler. Don’t be afraid to try and use them. And feel free to let your university life gives you a hand surfing the net with the aid of those ‘smart’ technologies.
